Authorities Investigate Strip-Club Shooting

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Authorities are investigating a shooting outside a local strip club early Friday.

One person was shot twice after a fight that started inside.

The Orange County Sheriffs Office received a 911 just after 1 a.m. when deputies arrived they found the gunshot victim in the back parking lot.

The 25-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to his back.

According to investigators, the fight started inside the club and moved outside. There were still a lot of people at the club, but once deputies got to the scene, very few stuck around.

"We're not sure what started the altercation inside between the two groups. The staff from Cleo's kicked everybody outside they thought the situation was resolved and each party went their separate ways. Unfortunately in back of the nightclub as you can see it started up again, hence the shooting," Sgt. James Sykes of the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the victim's injuries are not life-threatening and does want to press charges.

Investigators said they will be reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
